We are seeking a talented and experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Continental Venture Fund. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, investor portals, and digital platforms that support our investment operations and portfolio companies.
As a Web Developer, you will work closely with our investment team to create innovative tools that enhance our deal flow management, due diligence processes, and portfolio monitoring capabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technological advancement of a leading venture capital firm.
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications and investor portals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Work with portfolio companies to provide technical guidance and support
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of professional web development experience
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
Strong understanding of server-side technologies (Node.js, Python, or similar)
Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Understanding of responsive design principles
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience in the financial services or venture capital industry
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, etc.)
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
Contributions to open-source projects or personal portfolio
Experience with TypeScript

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy across multiple platforms to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and support our investment initiatives.
As our Social Media Manager, you will craft compelling content that communicates our value proposition, showcases our portfolio companies, and positions Continental Venture Fund as a thought leader in the venture capital space. You'll have the opportunity to shape our digital narrative and connect with entrepreneurs, investors, and the tech community.
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging channels
Create engaging content that showcases our portfolio companies, investment thesis, and industry insights
Manage day-to-day social media operations including content creation, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement
Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increase engagement
Collaborate with investment team to highlight portfolio company milestones, funding rounds, and success stories
Develop and manage social media advertising campaigns to support brand awareness and event promotion

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
3+ years of professional social media management experience

Strong copywriting and content creation skills with attention to detail
